My story
From mining
to mentoring.

After 20 years in mining, I entered the finance industry as a mortgage broker. That change meant learning a new industry and finding my feet as a business owner—an experience that helps me relate to the challenges new brokers face.
I later began mentoring new entrants to the industry, helping them connect their learning to real scenarios and build confidence in their own businesses. Today, I’m an MFAA Endorsed Mentor supporting new mortgage brokers across Australia with practical, patient guidance tailored to each person.
Understanding the why
My approach is practical, patient and supportive. I want you to understand why you’re doing something, so you can apply that understanding to the next scenario you face.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I’ll take the time to understand your needs, requirements and goals, and tailor our mentoring around them. We’ll work through real scenarios and build your confidence as you learn.
The life around the work
My family is a big part of why I do what I do. I enjoy spending time with my wife and sons, visiting local markets, eating out, exploring our local national parks and heading to the beach.
Photography is my main hobby, so there’s often a camera with me. These parts of my life matter to who I am and the way I work with people.
